Vitta Pizza is a small locally owned restaurant that serves Neapolitan style wood-fired pizza. Crispy and cheesy crust is what you can expect from your visit to Vitta Pizza as the pizzas are flamed in wood-fired oven at the right temperature. The pizzas here are quite flavourful as Vitta Pizza is generous with the toppings and sauces.

If you don’t have much time, you don’t have to worry because Vitta Pizza claims to be able to serve the pizza in 97 seconds. The restaurant is definitely a nice place to relax while enjoying your pizza as it offers a casual and open atmosphere, with a nice selection of beers.

Slide the City Cancelled

We told you last month about the much anticipated Slide the City event that was coming to Duluth this month. It’s been cancelled. The folks from Slide the City initially claimed they lacked sufficient time to organize it after the city released the permits. Eventually they copped to the fact that there’s some franchise stuff going on that precludes them from holding the event in Duluth this summer.

Pity for the fire department as this was to be a major fundraiser for its Operation Warm program. “When an event like this doesn't happen we lose money and that means losing jackets for these kids," Jon Otis, local

The Kris Lindahl Team understands that when parents of school-age children shop for a home, knowing all they can about the local school districts is important. Even those without children should consider buying a home in close proximity to a quality school as these homes tend to hold their values better than homes near poor-performing schools.

This month we’re featuring Congdon Park Elementary School, located near the shores of Lake Superior in east Duluth. The
