Duluth TourismAccording to a report released last week, 6.7 million people visited Duluth last year, resulting in a jaw-dropping $957 million impact on Duluth’s economy. The city hired Longwoods International to carry out the study, which is reported to have cost $20,000 to conduct. 

As noted by Visit Duluth CEO Anna Tanski, the primary reason for the research investment is to better understand how visitors to Duluth are spending money so future marketing and planning efforts can go directly into making the city an even hotter tourist destination moving forward.
