Plans for a new $10 million housing development in Duluth’s Smithville neighborhood were released this week, which according to repots will include both apartment and a number of affordable townhouse residences as well.
Being called Grand Avenue Estates, the project features two individual apartment buildings, as well as 9 detached townhouse-style residences that should live more like a single-family home than anything.
Each of the new 67 apartments will be market-rate rental units, which is significant given how active development has been around this part of Duluth.
