That huge sigh of relief you’re hearing all across Duluth is because the kids are back in school. They hate it, parents love it. Anyway, once a month, the Kris Lindahl Team with RE/MAX Results salutes a school in Duluth and this month, it’s Lincoln Park Middle School we’ll be looking at.
Lincoln Park is among the newest of Duluth’s schools, built in 2012, and it features some gorgeous architectural elements. The school serves nearly 500 students in grades 6 through 8 and employs 41 full-time teachers, giving it a student/teacher ratio of about 11:1.
Each Lincoln Park classroom contains a Smart Board and, because it was so recently constructed, it features state-of-the-art sports facilities, including a pool, a huge gymnasium and a weight room.
Special Programs and Clubs
Lincoln Park Middle School offers the following programs and clubs:
- Wolf Ridge Environmental Education
- Youth in Government
Lincoln Park’s most popular programs are the Mont du Lac ski racing team and the girls’ volleyball team.
