It may be somewhat of a challenge to think about boating when the temperature outside is cold enough to freeze tight the trunk of your car, but the organizers of this year’s Duluth Boat, Sports, Travel & RV Show want you to give it a try.
Happening this Wednesday, February 18th, through Sunday, February 22nd, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, this year’s show promises to offer something for everyone. If you’re in the market for an RV, a boat, a plot of land for hunting or a motorcycle, this is the place to shop.
The show features upwards of 200 exhibitors trying to hawk their hunting and fishing vacation packages, camping equipment and the latest fishing gear.
This year’s Boat, Sports, Travel & RV Show is being held in conjunction with the Northland Outdoors Duluth Deer Classic, held in the Lake Superior Ballroom of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
You’ll find, of course hunting seminars but this year’s live animal exhibit will probably be the most popular. Billed as “Australian Wild Animals,” you’ll see kangaroos, kookaburra, wallabies, emu and some pretty spectacular birds. You can also have your picture taken with a baby kangaroo.
Hours of this year’s show are as follows:
- Wednesday and Thursday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for students (age 6 through 17) and kids under 5 are admitted free. The price of admission gets you into both venues.
The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center is located at 350 Harbor Drive.
