Go for a walk, run, or bike ride along The Duluth Lakewalk
Although this may seem like one of the more obvious things to do in town, it’s still hard to leave off the list given it’s arguably Duluth’s best outdoor attraction. As one of the most scenic multi-use trails anywhere along Lake Superior, it’s certainly a great place to enjoy the stunning natural scenery that surrounds our amazing St. Louis County community. And with a great mix of parks, beaches, and gardens along the way, it’s easy to see why getting plenty of use out of The Duluth Lakewalk should be at the top of anybody’s list of things to do every single summer.
Enjoy one of Duluth’s many outdoor dinging spots
There’s no better way to enjoy the great summer weather than at one of Duluth’s many outdoor cafes and patios. If you’re looking for a cozy dinner spot, we recommend swinging over to Bellisio’s Wine Bar at 405 S Lake Ave, while Valentini’s is our go-to spot if you’re looking to enjoy a great meal while taking in some awesome views of Lake Superior. Stop by the Duluth Rose Garden in Leif Erickson Park
Featuring more than 3,000 rose bushes with over 100 varieties of roses, visiting the Duluth Rose Garden is one of the more unique things you can do in Duluth during the summer, especially because it’s one of the few formal English-style rose gardens in the entire Midwest. So be sure to take a stroll through the park this summer and take in the gorgeous sights and smells of this one-of-a-kind outdoor attraction in Duluth.
