Sure, we have some expensive homes, but we also have a whole bunch of homes priced just right for first-time homebuyers in Duluth. This week we thought it’d be fun to see what $200,000 would buy in our fair city.

There is only one home priced right at $200,000 but several are listed right around that price point.

Woodland-Pleasantview

What a great neighborhood this is, especially if you love being close to nature. This is a traditional home, built in 1922, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2,312 square feet of living space. It features hardwood floors inside and a 2-car garage, deck and patio outdoors. This home is priced at $199,900.

Downtown Condo

Enjoy low-maintenance living in Downtown Duluth and have amazing views of the lake to boot! This condo features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it, too, is priced at $199,900. Formal dining area, large kitchen and an in-unit washer and dryer are just a few of the amenities that come with this home.

Best of all is the balcony off of the living room where you can gaze at gorgeous Lake Superior.

Observation Hill

You’ll find lots of room in and around this Observation Hill 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. It offers 1,671 square feet of living space and sits on a double lot, offering views from the rear deck of the Lift Bridge, the bay and Park Point.

Although the home was built in 1909 and retains some of the original charm (leaded glass windows, etc.), the kitchen was updated with stainless steel appliances, new countertops and more. This home is listed at $200,000.
