Every year we notice that as we get closer to summer, events in Duluth start to come at us fast and furiously. While we can’t highlight every May event, we’ve picked out a few things we think you might be interested in hearing about.
Enroll the Kids in Summer Camp in Duluth MN
You’ll find a slew of summer camp programs for Duluth kids so it might be hard to choose just one. Just our opinion, but Day Camp Kitchigami is one of the best for kids that love being outdoors. Sponsored by Duluth Area Family YMCA Camping Services, it serves kids from ages 4 to 15 and it’s located right here in Duluth, at Chester Bowl Park.

Then, specialty camps are offered as well, such as horse camps, survival, climbing, theater and more. Learn more by viewing the brochure, here.

Memorial Day Parade in Duluth
Mother’s Day gets most of our attention during the month of May but Memorial Day occurs this month as well. Duluthians are invited to the Memorial Day Parade on May 25th, starting at 12:30 p.m. The route is along Grand Avenue in West Duluth and it features floats, marching bands, vintage cars, motorcycles and, of course, military groups.
